DocUtah Film Festival

September 5 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What could be more fun? Watch a documentary about how tequila is distilled, then join us for a very special private tasting! After the film, come outside, pick up a taco and churro, and bring them to the tasting of a very special tequila, distilled right here in Utah at New World Distillery in Eden.

AGAVE – THE SPIRIT OF NATION
Film Screening 9/5 5:00 PM, Red Cliffs 1

Tequila Tasting 7:00 PM,

In Mexico, families have been passing down the tradition of distilling agave for generations. Discover how this once obscure Mexican drink has become the fastest-growing spirit in the world. This expressive documentary, Agave,  takes viewers beyond the spirit to discover how one delicate plant can carry the weight of a nation and the people trying to protect it.

The film screening is separate from the tequila tasting.  A Festival Pass of any level is required to attend the film screening.

Tequila Tasting – $10 reservation required for the tasting; prepay donation to the St. George Wine Club Foundation are required. Donations for the tasting must be made in advance on the Wine Club Website at http://www.stgeorgewineclub.org/or arranged through email to info@stgeorgewineclub.org. Reserve your tasting space here http://www.stgeorgewineclub.org/
